Our Aim
We long to see you and your kids grow in love for each other! Our programme and volunteers create a space for you to laugh, play and learn with your children.
We believe Jesus has given us the greatest gift imaginable, and so in turn we want to bless you and your family with our time and facilities. -
Who are we?
We are a church that has been part of the fabric of Richmond community for over 100 years. Our volunteers are all church members in good standing, who love supporting kids as they grow.
Every volunteer is fully vetted and trained because you and your children’s safety is a priority for us. -
Our Details
Our programme runs every Monday and Friday during term time. We even run in a reduced capacity on public holidays.
Sessions begin in the Church hall with music and movement at 9.30am. Around 10.15am we move up to the play centre and eat together and play. Each session ends at 12pm.We’d love to see you at Holy Trinity, 27 Dorset Street, Richmond.
What we do
Music and Movement: We always start our sessions with singing, dancing, nursery rhymes and games down in the Church hall. Every term we have a new theme that we base our time together on, as a chance for the kids to learn a bit more about the world they live in. Kid’s fine motor skills, social skills, and basic musical aptitude are all catered to in this session.
Morning Tea and Play: We have a built to purpose play centre a 30 second walk from the church hall. On offer are a wide range of toys, crafts, sand pit, outdoor play equipment and ride on cars. Parents are encouraged to bring morning tea for the kids so they can eat together and make friends over food.
Special Events: There are various fairs, Christmas events, easter egg hunts and such which Holy Trinity runs which are a great chance for families to learn a bit more about our church community while enjoying the activities.
Our Coordinator:
Oli Preston
Oli has been greatly blessed by the work of the church in his life, and has very fond memories of both being in, and leading, Sunday school. His aim is to take that experience and pass it on to the new generation of little ones.
Oli loves chatting with the kids about their favourite things, and how their week has been. He also particularly loves any music that involves an acoustic guitar. He’s been married to Grace for 7 years, and they have 3 preschoolers constantly in tow.
